Where it came from
It started as monitoring for one brand selling small domestic appliances across French and European retail. Nobody there could answer three ordinary questions: who is selling our products, who holds the buy box, and at what price. The tools on offer either priced by SKU, covered the marketplaces and ignored the retailers, or produced a dashboard nobody opened twice. So we built the thing that answered the questions, sat with the commercial and supply teams who had to act on it, and kept building until it did. Everything on this site exists because somebody needed it on a Tuesday morning.
Read that case studyWhat we do
Merqi reads the public shelf every day and tells you what is happening on it. That is the whole scope, and keeping it that narrow is why it works.
Continuous page reads across marketplaces and own-shelf retailers — no retailer data feed, no distributor spreadsheet, nothing for you to integrate.
Listings tied to your references on title and SKU, at 98–99% on matched listings, with anything uncertain flagged rather than merged silently.
Buy-box attribution read from the captured ownership timeline, never inferred from price — with the winning price and the gap to your reference.
What it produces
Merqi is software your teams log into every day — Optimisation, Channels, Catalog, Candidates and a live alert queue. The monthly report and the Excel workbook are what you send onward from it, not the whole of what you buy.

How we work
These are the rules the product is built to, not marketing lines.
Your commercial and supply teams keep the process they already run. We build the views, fields, retailers and reports that fit it — the software adapts to you, not the other way round.
Duplicate-listing detection, the availability split and the dispersion alert are all in the product because clients specified them. Requests are built, not queued behind a roadmap.
Stated plainly rather than rounded up, with low-confidence rows flagged in the deliverable instead of hidden from it.
Anything wrong is fixed the same day you tell us. Standing is read from the captured ownership timeline, never inferred from price.
Not a monthly summary. Every morning you see the whole shelf and the specific rows to act on to win revenue back.
Each contested row carries what to do about it — the seller, the price to match, and what it is worth. Ranked so the most expensive row is the first one.
How we hold ourselves
Six commitments that shape what gets built and how it behaves. They are the reason enterprise buyers can sign this off quickly.
Your teams keep the process they already run. We build the views, fields and retailers that fit it — the software adapts, not your operation.
Every reference monitored, with no catalogue cap and no per-product line. Nobody has to decide which of your products are worth watching.
Any retailer or marketplace you sell through gets built and read. Anything not yet live is stated as such rather than shown as a tick.
Every screen and every filter exports as a full Excel workbook. No sampled tier, no row cap, nothing held back behind an upgrade.
Merqi observes and reports price. Monitoring and reporting are lawful across the markets we cover, and the platform is built so that stays true.
We read public listing pages as any shopper would. No shopper data, no credentials, no tracking — which shortens most security reviews to one call.
How we work
Working with us
The product improves because clients tell us what is missing, and because a small team can act on that the same week.
Or whenever you ask for one. We go through what the platform found, and what it missed.
A wrong row, a bad match, a retailer reading incorrectly — reported and fixed within the day, not queued for a sprint.
If your team needs a view that does not exist, we build it. That is how most of the platform got here.
Working together
We agree the references, the retailers and the markets. There is nothing else to configure.
Your catalogue, channels, optimisation view and alerts go live, and the first monthly report follows from them.
Twenty minutes on what it found. If it showed you nothing you did not know, do not pay month two.
Getting in touch
There is no sales layer between you and the team that writes the software. Send a reference list and we will scan it; ask for twenty minutes and we will come to the call having already read your shelves. If your procurement or security team needs to review us first, ask and we will send what they need — what we read, what we store, and what we deliberately never touch. Either route starts the same way: tell us which retailers matter and we will show you what is on them.

The problem
Right now, a seller you never appointed a reseller with your stock a marketplace trader an account you cannot name somebody undercutting you is costing you revenue and losing you customers.
They win the sale on a listing you built, to a customer who believes they bought from you. If that order arrives late, damaged or grey-market, you lose a customer and the revenue both — and neither ever appeared in your channel to begin with.
Undercutting is only the visible half. The rest of the damage never announces itself.
And it is never just one thing
A lost buy box is the one you can see. Merqi reads all seven on the same scan, so the damage you have not noticed shows up beside the damage you have.
Why one row matters
The featured offer is not a ranking, it is the default. The other sellers sit behind a link most shoppers never open, and on mobile they are not on screen at all. So when someone else holds the box on your listing, the page still converts — for them, on your product, at a price you did not set.

revenue our clients can recover
Every buy box lost to an unauthorised seller is a sale made at a price you did not set, on a listing you paid to build. Recovering those listings, closing the coverage gaps and holding distributors to their terms is where the range above comes from.
See what one scan cycle foundIndicative range. What Merqi recovers for your catalogue depends on how many of your listings are contested and how far price has drifted — the first report tells you which.
How it works
Every finding starts as a row in the same scan. What changes is the question you bring to it.
